The Hotel has a 2 star rating and all of its bedrooms have en-suite facilities. The Hotel has its own in-house restaurant, with a variety of dishes to meet most requirements. However, there is also the sister restaurant known as ‘The Singapora’ which is within a three minute walk in the High Street. The Singapora is well known for its high quality and authentic Malaysian, Thai and Nepalese cuisine.
The Hotel has its own extensive free car parking and a particular feature is the proximity to the magnificent 11th century Castle and Cathedral. Indeed, the Cathedral is literally across the High Street, and can be easily viewed from the Hotel.
The Medway Towns have much to offer with the Dickens and Sweeps festivals. The historic Chatham Dockyard is always worth a visit and within the City of Rochester there is the Castle and the Cathedral. Also, in the High Street is the Dickens Centre. Rochester is in an ideal position to explore Kent and London – that is if you have managed to exhaust the Medway Towns.
A Function Room is available for Seminars, and refreshments/accommodation etc can be provided as required. There is plenty of Car Parking at the Hotel, and Rochester Main-Line Railway Station is only half a mile distant. The M2 and all commercial areas in the Medway Towns are easily accessible from the Hotel, making it ideal for businesses to use.
The Hotel is licensed for Civil Marriages and is also very experienced in banqueting needs. We pride ourselves in being flexible and can adjust to meet most requirements.
The Restaurant is available for ‘A La Carte’ or Set Meals. We can design a Menu to suit your requirements. The smaller Dining Room can comfortably seat up to twenty-five guests and is delightfully furnished for that Special Occasion.

There are numerous local attractions in historic Rochester, with the Cathedral, The Castle, The Dickens Centre and The Historic Dockyard. Furthermore, throughout the year there are festivals such as the Sweeps and the Dickens Festivals, which both attract visitors from all over the UK, as well as abroad. Open Air concerts are held in the Castle grounds and they finish with a magnificent firework display over the River Medway.
The River Medway is the home for a number of paddle steamers, including the famous ‘Rochester Castle’. There is also the Rochester Marina, which is the home for many pleasure craft.
Rochester is renowned for its many Hostelries and Tea Rooms. The Medway Towns also have their share of Theatres, Cinemas and Leisure Centres. However, if you wish to ‘pop’ up to London, the journey by train takes some 40 minutes and with the M2 only approximately two miles away, London is also easily accessible by car.
Alternatively, you can go East or South and explore the Kent coastal resorts or the beautiful countryside of the aptly named ‘Garden of England’.
